Deepika, If you want to become a CA, there are 3 stages to it.

  1. CA Foundation
  2. CA Intermediate
  3. CA Finals

To start off with CA Foundation, you should register at the official website once you complete your 12th in any stream. So there is no mandatory stream that you should have completed your 12th in or a minimum aggregate that you should have scored. So with Biology as your stream, you can study to become a CA. You need to complete 4 months of mandatory study period to appear for CA Foundation examinations. CA Foundation is conducted twice a year. Once you complete CA Foundation, you need to register for CA Intermediate and complete 8 months mandatory study period. For studying CA, there are 2 ways. A Direct route which is for Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a minimum aggregate of 60% and the conventional route of completing CA Foundation and then join CA Intermediate. While studying CA Intermediate, you also have to complete a 4 week Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills. After passing CA Intermediate, you have to complete 3 years of Article ship and also complete a 4 week Integrated Advanced Information Technology and Soft Skills course. Then you can appear for CA Finals and then you become a Chartered Accountant.

Now regarding the scope, CA is one of the best professional courses that we have in India. There are various sectors that you can work as a CA. You can join Auditing Firms, Taxation, Capital Marketing, Investment Banking, etc. You can have your own firm as well.

Hello there,
Yes, anyone can do CA who have passed class 12th.
For CA first you have to register yourself through ICAI website.
Then you have to give CA foundation which held twice every year on May and November.
Then you have to give 8 papers of 2 groups.
After passibg either of the groups you can do articleship of 3 years.
Then passing again Final exams that consisit of 8 papers of 2 groups you will get the title "CA" before your name.
This process takes around 5 years of time.
The scope is wide as every company want a CA, so their demand is quite good.
Thank you.
