Can we do first btech and then MA

Hello Mayank,

Yes , definitely you can pursue MA after B.Tech. however, you don't have freedom to choose any subject in MA because some university ask for few particular subjects in Graduation for eligibility for MA. For example you can pursue MA in political science from any university but you can't pursue MA in Economics from any university.

Few of my friends are pursuing MA after B.tech from JNU, Delhi. There is no issue.

The minimum eligiblity criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. ... However, some M A English colleges also provide direct admission based on merit.
