Hello,

Law in distance mode isn't approved and recognized by Bar Council of India, hence it's better you opt for regular mode in case you're interested in a career in law, also law as a course isn't merely restricted to grasping theoretical knowledge there are practical applications as well which makes it even more imperative to pursue it in regular mode,

as from your profile it seems you're already a graduate, hence you can choose LLB,

the eligibility criteria for LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing  45% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5%  for reserved categories, universities like DU and BHU require minimum 50% marks while universities like Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Meerut require  only 45% marks in graduation.

Admission process may be based on the merit of the qualifying examination such as in case of TNDALU, or it can be done through entrance test as follows-

  • DU LLB conducted by Delhi University
  • PU LLB conducted by Punjab University
  • BHU-UET(Law) by BHU.
  • LAT by University of Allahabad
  • there are state level law entrance exams such as TS LAWCET, AP LAWCET, MAH CET LAW, KLEE to name a few.

if you want to be a lawyer in future, LLB through distance or correspondence mode is not the genuine option.Because Bar Council of India (Which regulates lawyers profession)does not recognize any distance education degree for LLB. Therefore, even if you managed to obtain one, you will not be able to practice in court with that In simple word you can’t become lawyer doing LLB through distance or correspondence mode.

Many universities provide a bachelor’s degree in law through correspondence course.
