Can we do mba without having any certificate of extra curricular activities and without any work experience.i mean only by studying.?
Hey Aditi!
You can not only do MBA but also do it from the top B-schools like IIMABC. Primarily, you need to clear the CAT, MAT, XAT, TISS-NET or IIFT exam and need to articulate your thought process very nicely in the GD and PI round. As you don’t have any extra-curricular activities. Be prepared to be grilled for questions from your academics. Be through with that. You can easily ace it. Being a fresher, I myself know, it doesn't make much difference in getting short-listed for PI AND GD round. You just need to show them you are capable of it. Just try to get a good score in your Undergraduate. Prepare well and ace it. Best wishes!
Hello Aditi,
It is not necessary to possess any MBA certificate of extra curricular unless you mention it in your Resume.
You just need to be 50% in graduation to be eligible for MBA.
Extra curricular activities definitely add to your resume but it is not at all compulsory to do it.
Work exp is added advantage in your placement along with GD PI .
Hope it clears your doubts.
All the best.
Yes definitely. You require a bachelor degree or graduation degree atleast to be eligible for an MBA.
Although i would recommend that you develop some extra curriculars atleast, because whenever you target for any top B-schools of India like IIMs they do require an X factor in candidates. Also if you have extracurriculars it adds to your CV Points which help you to be placed in better companies. The more proactive you are the better are your chances to convert better colleges and companies after MBA. After all at the end of the day MBA costs alot so you also need to look at ROI.
If you are not very comfortable in developing extra-curriculars do some projects in your own field, do some research collobarate with some company or solve some cases or problems related to your own domain.
Even doing that can help alot.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Yes obviously you can do so.
In fact, work experience has never been of that importance as a criterion for any B-school. Rather, there has been an increasing trend in balancing the student/batch portfolio in most B-Schools to facilitate a comprehensive learning. Thus, do not worry about you being a fresher. You must rather, leverage this point in portraying yourself as an opportunity to learn and adopt quickly.
However, yes not having extra curricular is little on a low side, to put a clear picture. This won't hinder your chances in any way, but might just count you low upon taking final decisions. You need to portray yourself really smart and extraordinary if you wish to get into a premium MBA college without extracurricular achievement. This won't be difficult in any way but might just pressurize you to do extremely well in your further rounds of GDPI and interviews.
Hope this helps!!
All the best!!
Hi Aditi,
Yes, you can do MBA. The minimum criteria for MBA is that you must be graduate with atleast 50%. There is no need of certificate for any extra curricular activity. There are lot of freshers who do MBA every year and moreover 1-12 month of experience is considered as fresher only. If you want you can take experience of around two years and then apply for CAT but its not mandatory.
It all depends on you at what time you want to start.
All the Best
Hi Aditi,
Yes you can do MBA without any experience. In general what you require is only a degree or graduation to pursue further education or do an MBA.
Even without having work experience you can do an MBA and make a great career. In fact, I myself am a fresher.
Regarding extra-cirriculars, the life in any B-school is full of activities that you can always take part in. Starting from the huge number of clubs, commitees and fest to the case competitions and workshops, you can all build your all round skills in a B-Schools by involving yourself in activities from Day 1.
The experience of a B-School will help you eveolve in all these aspects and hence make your CV perfect even if you lack there. So don't worry, prepare well and crack it!
All the best

Yes you can defenetly persue MBA on the basic of past studying. You just need to be graduated.Cirtificate for extra curricular activities is defenetly not necessary though a little work experience helps in easy adaptivity among students and gives a little more weightage in comparision with those who have not the experience.
But nothing is compulsory so you can peruse eat without this thoughts.
I hope this helps.
