Can we do mechanical engineering without being held in entrance exams?

Hello Nasir.

Good to hear from you. It totally depends on the college you want to join. Almost all the Govt. Engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, JNTUs, etc intake students based on entrance exams. If you want to join such college or any private universities then you need to appear for the respective entrance exam the college or university conducts. Without an entrance exam, you have only one choice, getting into a college through Management Quota. Not all colleges have such a thing, but most private college intake students through management quota.
