can we do msc in bio chemistry after ty bsc zoology ?

Hi,

Yes, you can pursue M.sc in Biochemistry after doing B.sc in Zoology. The eligibility criteria is to have graduation in Life Sciences or equivalent with 50% marks. Many institute conducts entrance exam for conducting admission. So, along with eligibility criteria, you need to pass entrance exam also.

  • M.Sc in Biochemistry is two years post-graduate programme.Biochemistry deals with the study and relationship of chemistry and living things.
  • Botany and Zoology are the basic life sciences which also study required amount of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology etc.
  • Also you need to have bachelor's degree in zoology with minimum 50% marks to be eligible for M.Sc in Biochemistry
