Hey Bhimanna,

If you got placed NITK, congratulations! It is a good place to study and to have fun. Indeed, the challenges you face to survive, would teach you life skills. There will be people from diverse backgrounds. Hence, it is a good opportunity to interract and you will definitely know more and persue situations, life, people in a better way. Places like NITs, IITs teach you life skills.  Such places don't have stereotypical boundaries. For example, you can be yourself and choose to live life your way. Students are very much occupied with their own stuff that they barely care what other do.(This is a scenario in most of the NITs, IITs) It would be platform to discover yourself and have joyful learning.(Most of the local state colleges pressure students to study and load them with work. That would not let them persue the concepts/subjects like the way they are habituated. Hence, freedom is snatched)

And yes, you will be given deadlines, loads of work at NITs aswell but in student friendly way. You'll enjoy studying.

Thank you and keep asking:)
