Hello there. Hope you are  doing good. I would like to tell you that NIT is ranked among top Engineering colleges in India with an amazing placement package. Students compete very hard every year to secure a seat in NIT. There is no scope of getting a free seat in NIT under any circumstances. There is a basic eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the candidate to secure a seat in NIT.You need to have a minimum of 75% in your 12th Standard and further admission is done through counceling conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) based on JEE Main ranking.

So, you need to score exceptionally well in your JEE Mains exam in order to get a seat in NIT.
