can we get admission in thappar university,punjab on basis of +2 board exam marks??

Yes you can get admission to this college based on you 12th board exam marks.While considering your 12th marks the merit of aggregate of three subjects namely, Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.However , in case there is a tie while taking your aggregate , your JEE Mains percentile will be considered , if you have appeared and cleared the same.It will be an added benefit if you have JEE mains because admissions for vacant seats in subsequent rounds of counselling will be done based on JEE(Main)-2020 rank only, so if you do not get through using your 12 marks then JEE can be helpful.

Thapar University, Patiala, accepts candidates based on 2 Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must have passed 10 +2 with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Candidates) in Board Exams.
- Students must have secured minimum of 15% of aggregate marks (10% for SC/ST Candidates) in the National level exam accepted by TIETU for admission in respective courses.
