Yes, you can request for your second practical date as soon as possible otherwise your result would be declared as SYCP (SUBJECT YET TO BE CLEARED In Practical) and your result would be failed even if you passed in Theory .

Attending practical is “very important” and compulsory for subjects with practicals even if you don't know anything just go and attend it .

You should know that it is very important to attend all of your Practical Examination as like as theory examination because those practical exam have some marks which can gain up your aggregate marks. As you got absent in the practical exam you have to reappear in the practical exam only .

It is important to attend the practical exams as each & every subject which has practical exams contains some percentage of marks for practical exams & these marks are added to your final percentage . So I won't say that it is compulsory to attend the practical exams but if you won't attend those exams then it's completely your loss you will loose those marks & at the end of the day it will effect your final percentage.
