Can we go to the tehsildar with our previous year income tax file to get ews

Hello,

Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs, and OBCs and whose family has a gross annual income below Rs 8 lakh is to be identified as EWSs for benefit of reservation. Income shall also include income from all sources for the financial year prior to the year of application. The documents needed for obtaining the EWS certificate are:

  • Aadhar Card.
  • Income Certificate.
  • Caste Certificate.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • Property Certificate.
  • Passport Size Photo.
  • Pan Card.
  • Bank Statement.
