JEE MAINS is the most popular entrance exam for engineering. Although you have to secure a good rank to get a college through JEE MAins. If you secure a rank good enough you can take admission in NITs, and many other government colleges. Some of the reputed college are:
1. Jamia Milia Islamia
2. Thapar University
3. Delhi Technical University
4. Jaypee(It is a private college but have good placements)
and there are many others.

Engineering aspirants can check the list of JEE Main 2019 participating institutes to know the institutes which will be offering admissions based on their performance at the national level entrance exam. A total of 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) will be the participating institutes of JEE Main 2019. Candidates who will clear JEE Main will be eligible to apply for admission to JEE Main participating institutes 2019. From 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct JEE Main twice a year in online mode. JEE Main 2019 for April session paper 2 has been concluded on April 7. Paper 1 is being conducted on April 8, 9, 10 & 12, 2019. Hence you can go for taking admissions in the engineering colleges whether private or government colleges in India.
