For joining Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), one need to attempt BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test).

You can not join in BITs just by 12th score. U need to attempt BITSAT and prepare well for it.

To get into BITS college, you need to write an exam known as bitsat. The requirements for this exam are

1. Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Subjects.

2. Candidates must have obtained 75% marks in PCB or PCM group with at least 60% in each subject physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology.

3. Aspirants who have passed the 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or earlier are not eligible to apply.

Unfortunately there is no such option to join BITS for engineering without attempting BITSAT.

You need to give BITSAT entrance exam to be eligible to take admission in any of the BITS colleges. It is MANDATORY.

To be eligible for BITSAT, you need to score an overall aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths combined in 12th boards and you also need to score a minimum of 60% in each of the three subjects separately.
