There are several ways to join ISRO as a scientist besides JEE Mains or Advanced. You would still be qualified for a position with ISRO if you studied engineering at any other reputable institution. You will need to study hard and gain the necessary information to be as productive as an IITian. To join ISRO as an engineering graduate, you must pass the admission test held by ISRO. ICRB (centralised Recruitment Board) conducts the test, and the GATE exam is also used for recruitment.
