Hi aspirant,

The basic eligibility criterias to become a merchant navy officer includes:

• Candidates should have completed their 12 ^th Boards with PCM.
• A minimum of 60% aggregate score is required in the 12 ^th
• The minimum age criteria is between 17year – 25 years.

So you can not become a merchant navy officer with commerce as stream. Now there are other diploma and post graduation courses as well but all have PCM as required subjects.
