The eligibility criteria for M. Tech are:

• Higher and Senior Secondary levels of education (classes X and XII) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.B.Tech./ BE (IT/CSE/EEE/ECE/ Instrumentation & Control) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.Often candidates are required to qualify an Institute, State or National-level entrance test for admission to the course.

Ideal candidates for the course would possess the following:

• Problem-solving ability: Logical and critical thinking for tackling tricky topics, ability to apply diverse concepts for solving a problem, ability to think at an abstract level, ability to leverage existing tools for problem-solving.

• Communication skills: Ability to explain things to others in a clear and structured manner.Teamwork: Ability to work with various counterparts requiring skills such as leadership, negotiation and conflict- resolution skills.
