Can we pursue a masters degree in two different field? For example, if a student has pursued MSc in Audiology, can he/she pursue another MSc degree in Neuroscience?

Hello Aspirant,

Yes , as long as you are eligible to be accepted into the MSc program , you can go for it. As per UGC rule , you are not allowed to pursue two regular degrees at the same time but you can do them separately. with one in regular mode and the other being in distance mode. But in your case , you have already completed the first masters so no issues in getting another one. Your eligibility to take admission in MSc Neuroscience depends on your bachelors degree,so visit the official website of the university or college you wish to apply and go through the eligibility criteria . The university may also ask your motivation to take up a second masters,so be prepared to explain the purpose behind it and make sure it makes sense, especially if you are aiming for abroad universities.

All the best
