Admissions are based on JEE Mains. NTA conducts JEE Mains. If you qualify and you get a seat in the counselling, you can join NIT. There is no provision of direct admission. This is just not for NIT Delhi, but for all the NITs in India. You have to qualify in JEE Mains for an admission in NITs.
