CAT (Common Admission Test) is an exam to take admission in Various Management Institutes across India be it IIM's, FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, IMI, IMT etc.

No you cannot take mobile phone along with you during exam. There is Frisking process to check that you are not carrying any prohibited items such as mobile phone, wrist watch, calculator, stationery items etc.

Based on the sectional and overall percentile cut -off of various IIM's and Non IIM Institutes you can check whether you have qualified or not.

Hii Akhila,

CAT is a Common Admission test to Pursue MBA course  in IIM's and B-schools.CAT exam has three subjects i,e Quantitative Aptitude,Data interpretation and logical reasoning,Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

The admission to IIM depends on CAT Score, Academics ,GD and PI.First of all you need to get a good percentile in the CAT exam based upon the CAT score you will get the interview call from IIM's.

We cannot take the Mobile to the CAT exam. For calculation purpose,They will provide you online calculator displayed on the computer.

Thank you.
