Can we use a character certificate from a gazetted officer (similar we use for govt jobs) instead of character certificate from last studied college for getting admission for post graduation

hi,
see it depends on the exam or the exam control authority notifications of admission process. generally character certificate is issued by the educational institute after completing any course program. I suggest you to contact the exam control authority and ask the details of sources from where character certificate may issued and accepted. I understand currently most of the institute has closed due to pandemic and there fore it may be delayed to issue a character certificate from any of the institute.
