Yes it would be helpful to use the book as an additional book,  you can check the syllabus and if the syllabus matches you can study from it. 

But generally what happens is two different exams have little difference in terms of syllabus and question sets and types.  You can tally for that.  As the syllabus is majorly same it can be used for most parts.
