Can we write GATE for taking admission into B.E or BTech?

GATE is conducted for taking admission in Master in Technology/Science in various colleges throughout India. For B.tech you have to appear in JEE Mains and Advanced or other State level entrance exams. Also you must be from science PCM background.

Actually for the gate eligibility is that you should have completed the diploma or any degree of 4 years can apply for gate
But your query is for getting into the btech college gate is not required

You cannot write GATE exam for B.E. or B.TECH . This is exam for taking admission in masters and PhD program . With help of this exam score candidate can take admission in premier institution.

the GATE exam is for getting admissions into reputed college for the Mtech program for getting into a job in various reputed PSU. if a candidate wishes to take admission in BTech then the candidates should write JEE mains and JEE advanced exam to get admission in the various reputed engineering colleges
