Nowadays, preclinical subjects are opted by many medical aspirants such as anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, physiology, molecular biology, Genetics, Immunology, Forensic Science and Toxicology, embryology, medical microbiology, pharmacology etc. These are the very basics of medicine and other clinical subjects such as medicine and surgery are dependent on them. All these branches are good with better career prospects and good earnings. Most importantly, do what you like rather than doing what others say to you and try to be best in your field.
