can you explain me what is opening and closing cut off marks?

Hello aspirant,

Opening and closing cutoffs are for the college that is taking admission through the test. What I mean to say is : Let Z be any college that is taking admision for a program through any exam, then that college has a cutoff marks in that exam, if you score above that cutoff marks then you are eligible to take admisssion in that particular college.

For instance, if a candidate with marks 95% takes admission in a course and a candidate with minimum 87% took admission in the same course. So the opening and closing cutt off is 95% and 87% respectively.
