According to UGC guidelines, if the pandemic situation gets in control soon then the session for fresh students (ones who are starting their graduation) will start from September 1 . And the session for old students will start from August 1.

This highly depends on the current situation, if the lock down doesn't get relieved then the session may start late. Also once the entrance exams are done, the colleges would start the admission process immediately.

As per new announcement by our HRD minister all engineering students are going to be promoted except the final year students they have to give exams. In engineering colleges 1st year hostels has to be evacuated then only new batches come and thats why before new batches old students has to go to colleges and seeing the pandemic corona cases is likely to jump in july and so between august- September new batches can be called.
