you can undergo some courses listed below which can help you in future.
CFD, Fluent, Hysis, Aspen plus, HTRI (Heat transfer Research Inc), & Ansys.
Apart from these courses you can also learn some coding in basic languages such as C# initially and then move to Python for machine learning.
Also you can take practitioner jobs in chemical industries to get some knowledge of processes and equipment designs from the process point of view.
