In terms of participating institutes, CAT scores are accepted by over 100 B-schools across India including 20 IIMs, IITs (Department of Management Studies), NITs, IISc, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon etc. These institutes consider CAT scores exclusively. These are tier 1 institutes whose average package may range from Rs. 10 Lakh per annum (LPA) to Rs. 15 LPA.

For CMAT and MAT, several institutes are common, and they all accept CAT scores as well. Some top B-schools accepting CMAT and MAT scores include Great Lakes Institute of Management Gurgaon (CMAT), Goa Institute of Management, BIMTECH Greater Noida, IFIM Bangalore, TAPMI Manipal, IMT Hyderabad to name a few. These institutes range from Tier 2-3 B-schools across India and the average salary may vary from Rs. 5-10 LPA.
