Hello,

IIM(Indore), IIM(Rohtak) and IIM(Ranchi) offer five year integrated course in management, this means combination of BBA along with MBA for which admission is done through IPMAT, the eligibility for this course is passed 10+2 from a recognized board having mandatory 60% in 10th as well as 12th, for SC/ST/PwD it's 55%.

The entrance test is conducted for  a duration of 90 minutes in online mode , there are mainly three sections Quantitative Aptitude has MCQs and Short-Answer questions with each having time bound of 30 minutes carrying 20 questions for MCQs and 10 questions for short answer, and Verbal Ability (MCQs) carrying 30 questions are to be answered in 30 minutes.

For each correct answer, four marks are awarded.

There is negative marking scheme, for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted except short answer of quantitative aptitude section which doesn't carry any negative marking.

The syllabus of Quantitative Aptitude consists of Number systems, Data Interpretation, Averages, Quantitative reasoning, Distance, Time and Work, Mixtures and Alligations, Interpretation of tables, Common graphs & charts , etc.

The syllabus of Verbal Ability consists of Sentence completion, Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, and Phrases, Comprehension of passages, Proper Usage of Words, Vocabulary, Grammar, Fill in the Blanks etc.

Recommended Books are as follows-

For Quantitative Aptitude , you can use NCERTs class 11th and 12th for conceptual understanding, and later on can choose between How to prepare for Quantitative Aptitude for the CAT" by Arun Sharma , or The Pearson Guide to Quantitative Aptitude for competitive exams.

For English Section , you can use Wren and Martin book for Grammar , Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis is a great book for vocabulary building, some of the books for particularly this exam are How to prepare for  Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension for the CAT, by Arun Sharma and Meenakshi Upadhyay , The Pearson Guide to IIM-Indore-IPM Entrance Examination

Based on the aptitude test scores, candidates will be further shortlisted for written ability test, personal interview, and eventually merit list will be prepared based on composite scores of each category.
