Can you please inform me about CSIR UGC NET Eligibility criteria?

There are some eligibility criteria for CSIR & UGC NET exams. Before applying to exam candidate should check that they fulfil the criteria or not.
Educational: Candidate should have at least 55% for general (50% for reserved categories) in their post-graduation degree.
Age: For CSIR JRF maximum allowed age is 28 years and for UGC NET JRF maximum allowed age is 30 years. There is no age restriction if you are appearing for lectureship exam only.
Also there are some changes in ugc net 2019 selection process as NTA recently changed some guidelines and pattern. So it is advisable for candidates to check all the details before applying.

Candidates must have completed masters or post-graduation diploma to apply for the CSIR NET exam.

Educational Qualifications
- General/OBC category aspirants should have masters' with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
- SC/ST/PwD gets the relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks to apply for the exam.

Age Criteria
- For CSIR NET JRF General/OBC candidates’ age must not exceed 28 years.
- Up to 5 years age relaxation is provided to the SC/ST/PwD category aspirant.
- No upper age limit decided for the candidates of CSIR NET Assistant Professor.

the eligibility criteria for the candidates to appear for CSIR UGC NET 2019.

CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Education Qualification
Candidates must hold an M.Sc or equivalent degree or Integrated BS-MS/BS/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General and OBC candidates, and 50% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates.
All those candidates who are enrolled for M.Sc or have completed their graduation can also apply under Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they will complete the qualifying degree with required percentage of marks within two years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.
B.Sc(Hons) or equivalent degree holders or candidates enrolled in Integrated MS-Ph.D program with at least 55% marks for General candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD.
Candidates who hold bachelor’s degree will be eligible for the fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D/Integrated Ph.D program within the validity period of two years.
All
those candidates who have qualified CSIR UGC NET 2019 are eligible for
Lectureship only if they meet the criteria laid down by UGC. Candidates
who have passed Master’s degree before 19th September 1992, with at
least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only.
Note : Candidates who hold only Bachelor’s Degree will not be eligible for Lectureship.
The eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET 2019 on the basis of age is different for JRF and Lecturers.
For JRF (NET)
The upper age limit of the candidates for JRF must be 28 years of age as on January 1, 2019.
For LS (NET)
There is no upper age limit decided by the exam conducting authority for the candidates applying for Lectureship.
