For starting the UPSC preparations from the college you have to start from today it's doesn't matter that in which year you have now if you are in 1st and 2nd year then this is the golden chance to start your preparation for UPSC during this time you can give 2-3 hours consistently till the last then you will get success in the UPSC and if you are in 3rd and 4th year then you have to donate some more hours to your preparations.

*Make a routine or a time table , keep short breaks of 20 to 25 minutes after every 2 hours
*Read newspaper daily and keep yourself updated with the current affairs
