Here's the feedback on VIT school of law
The placement in VIT is quite good. They make sure that every eligible student get placed with a decent package. For the placement process, more than 150 companies visit the Vellore campus throughout the year. The Chennai campus student go and stay in the Vellore campus for the same. The average package offered ranges between 4-5LPA and the highest package goes around 24LPA.
The college infrastructure is very good. The labs are well-equipped with all the modern lab equipment. The college has 3 story library which provide every course material along with several other novels and magazines which is accessible to students from 8 in the morning everyday till 12 in weekdays and 9 in weekends and holidays. The college has 3 boys and 1 girls hostel, the college also provide Wi-Fi facility with a limit of 15GB per month and the speed is 256kbps maximum. There is also 24 hours medical facility available on the campus.
Majority of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and have great knowledgeable about the subject they teach. They have good subject knowledge and they know how to deliver the same to the students and to keep the class involved and active. The student to teacher ratio is 60:1 for a class
Thanks for asking, As far as law school is concerned, there are only a few colleges which are good. NLUs are the best. Not all but 6 to 8. Clat and Ailet should be your focus if you are serious about the law. Apart from NLUs, Jindal global law school is also good if you are afforded the fees. All other colleges are not that good. You can consider symbiosis Pune also.
