As per the information available online,
Yes, entrance is required for admission in BA honours Economics in Banaras Hindu University.
You have to clear entrance after that councelling is conducted and then admission is given to student.
Syllabus for BHU UET is as follows:
General Reasoning, Maths.
Fundamentals of History, Political Science, Geography, Economics
Current affairs and a language Hindi Or English.
