DOCTORATE OF PHARMACY: this is a six year program from which 1 year is internship. you can practice in both pvt as well as govt hospitals as a pharmacist. the course is a combination of science and art of dispensing medicines and you get a practical knowledge about clinical pharmacy therefore you attain the ability to diagnose, use therapeutic drugs and perform tasks like monitoring patients.

BACHELOR OF PHARMACY: this is a 4 year course in which you are given the basic knowledge about medicines, drugs, their chemical structure , formulation etc. you will be taught human anatomy and physiology, pharmaceutical analysis,biochemistry, remedial biolog etc.
