Dear candidate, IITs are most premier academic institutions of engineering in India. To get admission in IIT. first you need to crack JEE Mains. Then you need to get rank under 5000 in JEE Advanced to get your desired branch in IIT, if you are from general category. Different reserved categories have different cutoffs in JEE Mains and Advanced. However, if you can't get desired rank to get into IIT then you can get into NIT or any other  good institution by securing good marks in JEE Mains.

Eligibility: Candidate must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Maths subjects or who is appearing in 12th in current year. Relaxation in percentage of class 12th is given due to Covid, else you need to fulfill that criteria too. Total 3 attempts are allowed for JEE Mains and 2 for JEE Advanced.

Hope, it helps!
