Can you please tell me the approx marks required in cat to score above 85 percentile. Just rough idea please

The re is no static or fixed cutoff in terms of marks for CAT as it is strictly normalized process backed by algorithm.
As per previous trends, a rough estimated weighted average gives a minimum of 110 marks for 85percebtils.
However, this may vary as CAT also considers time factor into consideration and how much time is spent on each wrong question which ultimately determine your final percentile.
The final percentile is also based upon the sum of mean and standard deviation of marks of all candidates in the particular slot to remove any difficulty and hence predicting a fixed score iz difficult.
Focus well on all sections is highly improtant.

See there is no fixed marks for scoring any percentile in CAT exam because It is a total tough phenomenon which depends equally on your performance and also the performance of other students who are also appearing in the CAT exam.
