The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Competitive Examination (AICE) in order to offer candidates admission in Doctoral Degree Programmes (PhD) and an award for JRF/SRF (PGS). Though Candidates passed out from private universities which are not accredited by ICAR, are not eligible for the examinations. Syllabus is not common for all.
