Hello Ritika,

Over 9.4 Lakh aspirants registered for the UGC NET June 2019 exam. From which only 6,81,718 candidates appeared in the exam.

50945 aspirants qualified for Assistant Professor only and 4756 candidates qualified for both JRF & Assistant Professor.

Hello UGC NET Aspirants!

NTA UGC NET Exam was conducted from 20th to 26th June and the result was scheduled to be declared on 15th July 2019. But as answer keys had been declared already so the result was declared on 13th July 2019.

Coming to the result stats for June 2019 Exam

Number of candidates registered - 942419

Out of this number418233 candidate were male and 524164 were female. 22 transgender candidates also registered for the exam.

Total No of candidates Appeared for the exam- 681718

Out of this figure 294144 candidates were male; 387563 candidates were female and 11 candidates were transgenders.

Number of candidates qualified for Assistant Professor only - 50945

Out of this huge number, total 27460 male candidates Qualified the exam for Assistant professor, on the other hand 23485 female candidates also qualified for assistant professor.

Candidates qualified for JRF & Assistant Professor - 4756

Out of this 2790 candidates were male, and 1966 candidates were female who could qualify the exam for JRF.

In total 263894 male candidates and 362111 female candidates could not qualify for JRF or assistant professor either.

1 female candidate was found with unfair means.

Hope this information justifies the real reason behind JUNE 2019 Cut off.
