Cracking the BMS entrance isn't tough at all, provided you are well equipped with the right concepts and a test-taking strategy. you can joined the coaching institute for my entrance prep. coaching as such contributed a lot to building up  concepts, it did a lot in terms of helping structure my schedule, and hence, determining my test taking strategy. Since JAT is a pen-paper test, you have the liberty to choose whatever section you wish to do first and it is completely your prerogative if you select your weakest area, or your strongest. I had chosen to start with my strongest area, Quant and did GK (my weakest) right at the end. It's important to practice using mock tests in order to be able to develop this strategy.

For concepts, you can use much of the material given by my coaching institute,  or used the BMS prep book by Arihant. It contained all concepts and was concise enough for practice everything. I believe that book in itself is quite sufficient and there is absolutely no need to use any other source. Like I said, focussed more on mocks than completing books, and that worked for me. It helped to gain speed, practice a range of questions and ensured that wasn't just focussing more on one section.

Honestly, the test is all about your potential to be a good manager, and what better way to test this than to see how well you manage yourself? In that way, I don't believe there is "one right way" to prep for the entrance, its all about figuring out what works for you, and always being confident about yourself and your skills :)
