In India, the scope for architecture is expanding. However, one cannot expect a good package if he leaves after completion. The current trend is that after finishing architecture, a student can get a job in an architecture firm for a salary ranging from $15k to $20k per month.
After gaining enough experience and confidence, you will need to start your own firm.
To summarise, you may not land a job with a high salary, but you will eventually earn more on your own.
