Computer science is overpolluted now-a-days but popular at the same time. Always keep its position better than the latter.

But it's upto you my friend, choose your passion nothing is nonpopular. Perhaps it is you who can make the difference.

Follow your own content and be happy.

Hello Purushotam
Comparying Radiology or Computer Engineering is like comparing apples and oranges. You have to specify the criteria for the comparison.
If the criteria is placement, Computer Engineering is highly recommended because it can provide you much more options for job.
However if you have an interest in radiology, and want to pursue the same field in research, do go for it because it has a high importance in both government and private sectors.
Basically, it comes down to your interests Purushotam.
Hope this helps.
All the best !

Both of them are good enough. You just follow your passion . Pick up a field which excites you the most and what is more appropriate for you. All the best.

For computer engineering i suggest you to take computer science engineering(CSE) course rather than information technology (IT),computer networking engineering.

HOPE THIS ANSWER HELP YOU.

Hey,Purushotam

I would suggest you to choose Computer engineering over radiology because radiology scope is not in the market nowdays it is still going on research topic  so the company is hiring the persons well educated and those are doing so much research and those are working in the research development departments of the company But in the case of computer engineering is it is the developed stream and ample number of job oppurnity by doing the B.tech only and make the good money.

First radiology generally doesnt come under engineering. It generally is offered as a medical course. Computer science engineering though comes under engineering. There is no comparison like this as a radiologist is necessary for diagnostics and therefore there is always a great demand for good radiologists. CS is one of the most popular engineering courses as it is perceived to be a highly paying branch.

At this point, I would suggest that you decide where your interest lies. Someone telling you what to do is never a good method to start. Check both courses on the internet, see which interests you more and then decide.

You can try both of them if you really interested in radiology

Absolutely. My friendwas a CS major and went on to become a radiologist. In fact, for many years, he was a research radiologist in Imaging Informatics so not only can a CS become a radiologist but there are great opportunities to do so.

You will have to take the pre-med classes, MCATs and get in to medical school. You then need to get in to a radiology residency though there are less competitive than a few years ago. Then most radiologists do a year or two of fellowship to subspecialize.

Don't let that discourage you as there will be many exciting opportunities to apply your CS skills even while in medical school and residency. There is, I believe, a Homan research pathway in radiology residency and you could do that in informatics.

There is a whole professional society (SiiM) dedicated to Imaging Informatics with a great annual meeting that now has a hackathon.

Success comes only with hard work

Good luck!

Hey aspirant

It totally depends on your choice of interest. If you feel radiology is the field you would like to do in a better way, you can go for that. Else, you can choose CS. Feel free to ask more details about radiology engineer.

Thanks.

I guess   Cse would be better option than radiology because it is just a study of images used to develop results .

It's scope is not as big or prosperous as compared to Cse ,while the work done by radiologist can be  replaced by artificial intelligence in future .who knows?

What would happen . it's a risk not worth taking.

Hey purushottam!

To consider for now. Computer science is a rapid developing and demanding course in engg.

But if you have interest in radiology then feel free to join.

All the best
