candidates from any state, can apply kerala and karnataka mbbs entrance exam?
Hello Rajesh,
For getting into MBBS you need to you need to apply for NEET after your +2 and it is not state wise after giving your NEET if you qualify in merit you get an option called counselling in which you can choose your college according to your eligibility but if you are situated in one state and applying for another state college you need to get a good score than others,if you are in general category or reserved category.
Dear Rajesh, there is no more state wide entrance examination for MBBS admissions. NTA will conduct national wide entrance exam and that is called NEET. The admission to Kerala MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS, BSc (Agr.), BVSc, BSc (Forestry) and BFSc will be taken through NEET UG. The authorities will give admission to 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in government and all the seats in self-financing/private medical and dental colleges in Kerala, through a centralized counselling conducted in three phases. For admission to 85% seats of government colleges and 50% seats of private colleges, candidates need to show that they are Indian citizens of Kerala origin. For admission into Kerala MBBS seats, you need to be from Kerala. The same goes for Karnataka too. However, you are eligible for 15% All India Quota through which you can get admission in Kerala or Karnataka based on your merit.
