You have to first decide in which field you want to take admission. Like if we see DUET BTech eligibility criteria we get to know that we must have secured an aggregate of 60% in class 12th and at least 60% marks in four subjects which must include mathematics.
If we look for UG courses like B.A Hons, LLB, LLM then there is no such requirement of mathematics in class 12.
But if you are looking to apply for BBA, BMS then you must have mathematics in class 12.

It totally depends on which Course you want to take. if you are looking for B.tech Course then yes you must have Math as a compulsory subject in class 12th with Minimum of 60% marks.
There are some courses like BA LLB, BA Hons etc In which mathematics is not compulsory according DUET eligibility Ceriteria.
