Talking frankly then the placements in IIPE are really poor in indian. The petroleum engineering is very underestimated branch of engineering. The jobs available in india are limited in this field and is mostly provided by companies like INDIA OIL, ONGC, RELIANCE etc. But you can try for abroad like ARAB COUNTRY, there the conditions will be slightly better but the pakage will be less still tge growth in abroad will be very good.
