Career after M.A. in Clinical Psychology - Job, Scope, Salary

Clinical psychology has a very good scope.You can work in a variety of areas since it is a base for many other fields of psychology
You can get into teaching, counselling, research and mentoring, NGOs, drug Rehabilitation centres.....
You can work in hospitals or in private practice, universities etc...
Job titles & average salary is around:
- Clinical psychologist -360 k
- School or career counselor -320k
- Mental health/Addiction counselor ( substance abuse, behavioral disorders)-190k
- Learning disabilities specialist
- Forensic psychologist - 355 k
- Family and marriage therapist
You should have several years of experience and pursue doctorate studies like M.Phil, PhD to get a higher salary
Starting salary in india would be around 1.8 to 6 LPA
Average salary for M.A in clinical psychology is around 9 LPA
Highest salary would be around 30 LPA based on your experience and skills
So it is your choice , you can either go for a job or pursue higher studies.

- Clinical psychologist: 10 lakh
- School psychologist: 2.5 - 3 lakh
- Teaching: 2 lakh
- Health psychologist: 3.5 - 4 lakh
All the above mention salary is per annum and in India.
