In the coming years, there is a need for more geologists than there are currently now because the scope of this industry is widening. Not only can Geologists work as Geo Scientists but there are ample of opportunities in industries like Petroleum, Mining, Environmental Geology, Engineering Geology and Geotechnical Geology, Government and Nonprofit careers, Teaching and Academic Careers. Few designations are Drilling Engineer, Environmental counsultant, Environmental engineer, Minerals surveyor, Quarry Manager and Sustainability consultant. Now there are also other profiles like Engineering Geologist, GeoChemist, Geophysicst Geoscientist, Geotechnical engineer,Hydrogeologist, Mudlogger and Wellsite geologist.
