you can join in navy, you will have a great fututre, You could join Indian Navy as a technical officer in either Electrical or Engineering branch if you have a BE or BTech degree. Otherwise you could join in Supply branch or Education branch if you are a Post Graduate in commerce or science.

You would be joining as a short service commission officer. It's a wonderful career opportunity. You get a very good starting pay, the best possible exposure to the latest technology better than anywhere else, hands on experience, and an opportunity to lead.

Nowadays, women officers are being admitted into the Law, Logistics, ATC, Observers (Aviation), Naval Architecture & Education Branch as Short Service Commission officers.

However, the Government has now approved Permanent Commission for women in Law, Education and Naval Architecture cadre. In the Navy, the Service conditions are same for men and women officers.
