Yes, after completing your BHMS, you will be qualified to apply for a diploma in gynaecology. The Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGO) is a three-year full-time Diploma program.
The candidate must have completed an MBBS, BAMS, or BHMS program with at least 50% marks from a medical college approved by the Medical Council of India.
However, the curriculum includes obstetrics and gynaecology as key courses, same like in MBBS, so postgraduate study is not accessible. Because BHMS and MBBS are two completely distinct systems. There is no way to switch over.
As far as career options are considered here are few options a BHMS graduate can pursue:
- Doctor of Medicine in the Practice of Homeopathy
- Homeopathic Pharmacy Doctor of Medicine
- Homoeopathic Doctor of Medicine

See there are programs of Diploma in Gynaecology and Obesterics for the BHMS graduates but you can't do surgery or treat critical patients as done by the allopathic practitioner. So if you are thinking of a Gynecologist in Allopathy then its not the same in case of Homeopathy.
