Central University of Hyderabad is recognised by the UGC. It is accredited with an ‘A' grade by the NAAC.  Admission to most of the courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by UoH.

Admission is also on the basis of some national-level entrance exams for admission to MBA, MCA, MTech and PhD programmes.The university conducts an entrance exam for admission to MSc, MA, MTech, MBA, MPA, MFA, MPH and PhD programmes and also accepts national-level entrance exams, including CAT, NIMCET, GATE, UGC NET and CSIR NET, for admission to MBA, MCA, MTech and PhD programmes, respectively.

Some courses under this University are MA,MSC,MTech,MBA,MFA,MPA,MCA,PhD etc.

The placement is also good. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed with the highest salary of 15 LPA and average salary of 6 LPA.

Some of the top recruiters are Amazon, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, Texas Instruments, Dell, Qualcomm, Oracle, DE Shaw, Teradata, Works Applications, Royal Bank of Scotland, CISCO etc.

The library is good and is accessible to all the students and has also consists of more than 25,000 books, e-journals, e-books, reference books etc.

The faculties are highly qualified and student friendly with a very good teaching skill.
