Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and approved by Indian Nursing Council
Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the Basic B.sc. Degree Course in Nursing should have passed the qualifying examinations after a period of 12 years of study with the following subjects. English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology candidate should obtain individual pass in each subject with less than 45% and the aggregate of 50% which is mandatory. Candidates should have passed in all the subjects in one and the same attempt and the improvement marks will not be considered for admission.
Age: Candidates should have completed the minimum age of 17 years and also shall not have completed 21 years of Age on the 1st of July of the respective academic year.
Preparation tips
The candidate should first ensure that they are through 11th & 12th NCERT books. You need to have your base strong.
Select reference books wisely. Do not refer to a lot of books. Make sure that you are studying the right book and stick to it.
Make a proper time-table for studying. Give yourself deadlines, as to within what time a particular subject or topic has to be finished.
Study daily for a certain period of time.
Make sure that you leave some time for revision at the end.
After completing all the study material, solve previous year question papers.
Go can get those either online or can even buy books that consist of their solutions as well.
Try to meditate and so some exercises to keep your mind fresh. Sometimes, even a small break helps a lot. It will make you ready to be back at work with more focus.
