Chandigarh University has been approved by AICTE(All India Council of Technical Education). It was established in the year 2012 by the Punjab Legislature.

Furthermore Chandigarh University has been approved by UGC(University Grants Commission). Manu Undergraduate, PG, doctoral level courses are offered by the University.
